Overview

Korean-built Musso (no relation to the 1990s Mercedes-platform Musso also sold in AU). Coil-spring rear suspension, Mercedes-derived 722.6 7-speed auto, full 3500kg tow from a 2.2L four. Long warranty when new. SsangYong was acquired and rebranded as KG Mobility — creates some brand-continuity uncertainty for parts and dealer support, particularly in regional NSW. Lower payload (under 800kg on the XLV long-bed) is the main practical compromise versus the segment.
