Coolant intrusion / cracked head (open-deck EcoBoost)

The 2.0 EcoBoost shares the open-deck coolant-slot design; under sustained boost, combustion pressure can force coolant into a cylinder, causing coolant loss, misfires and a cracked head over time.

Fix: Watch coolant level and exhaust colour; investigate unexplained coolant loss or misfires early; head/gasket repair if confirmed.
