Overview

Ford-Australia engineered second-generation T6.2 (P703 platform). Designed in Melbourne, built in Thailand. The 3.0L V6 "Lion" diesel is the segment's standout — 600Nm, 8-second 0-100 feel, the closest a current diesel ute gets to a tow weapon outside the US full-size class. The 2.0L bi-turbo carries over from the PX MkIII. Major V6 recall issued 2024 for camshaft sprocket fracture — verify completion via VIN before purchase. Shares platform with the current VW Amarok 2X.
